Slc. Memoria Alvin Beggman ‘Poem’

A small division of this micro-mini Sophrolaeliocattleya hybrid took its time to grow but the wait was worth it. Cheerful and bright, it produces cute bright yellow flowers with spotted with red on a frilly lip. Although clones are sold, variations occur with the markings on the lip. The flowers are large for the size of the plant. A frequent bloomer, it can outgrow its home rapidly. Bright and moist conditions are ideal but the plant needs to almost dry between waterings. Best grown in a clay pot.
