Bc. Maikai ‘Louise’ AM/AOS

Easy to grow, this primary hybrid Brassocattleya flowers with clusters of cool pink spotted blooms. The 3 inch (10 cm) flowers display spotting that shows through the back of the petals and sepals; as the flowers mature, their color deepens. Requiring fairly high light, this orchid should be repotted when it has filled its pot or it will stop flowering. It can eventually grow into a nice size specimen. Daytime fragrant and great for beginners.
(Brassavola nodosa x Cattleya bowringiana)

Bc. Maikai can also be grown from backbulbs. If one can spare the time, backbulbs can be an inexpensive way to expand an orchid collection.
